I know I haven’t been posting to my daily blog…the title says it all. Sorry for those of you who keep checking and maybe gave up because I never post…I’ll do better.
10 months old!
June 26, 2009I don’t know how this is going so quickly but it is. Mia has 4 teeth now and is almost weaned from breastfeeding, allowing me the chance to get away a bit more and not feel guilty, yeah. She is a standing machine! Mia also “cruises” the furniture, so it won’t be long and she’ll be walking, wow. She continues to get more and more funny, and actually has a great sense of humor already. She sleeps through the night and eats more food than her 2 1/2 year old big sister….

May 28, 2009it’s the second of my life and not fun. but i have drugs for the infection and the allergies that helped it along:)
oil change for the car today…perfectly planned timing…guess what? after the requested tire inspection (i knew i needed new tires and the car was vibrating) i was brought back to the shop and shown the massive crack in my tire just waiting to blow out. so timing of lunch and nap time went out the window along with our extra money (for emergency). thank god we had an emergency fund for that sort of thing. ah, the joys of being an adult:)
sicky, again
May 27, 2009I thought I was better after nursing my cold over the long weekend (so glad Ryan was home for three days to give me a chance to recover). However, as today rolled along I started to ache, my nose started to run faster, and oh, did I mention the ache? Just typing this hurts. Why am I still up? Because Ryan came home with a migraine this evening. So, we are both putting in half effort with Anya till she goes to bed. Thank God Mia is already sleeping…and didn’t scream (I think we are through the worst of it with her too).
My concern is that I have an ear infection. I know, kids get those. But I can’t hear and my equilibrium is all off. When I blow my nose my ears get stuffed and I’ll fall over if I don’t grab something or sit. Hmmm, maybe I’ll have to call the doctor for ME tomorrow…strange.

Memoral Day Weekend
May 25, 2009We had lots of fun BBQ’s and family time this weekend. We also went to Como Zoo. I only got two good pics before the battery died, doh! NOTE: charge battery on camera before leaving to fun place and photo op. Do you think the paparazzi does that? Oh well, here is the best pic of the weekend.
Anya got sunglasses this weekend…they had to be pried off at sleeping times:)

We go to our local ECFE program. We LOVE it. The girls brought home reports cards and they are doing very well. The funny thing to me was that their teacher said both are learning and happy. Anya is ” very active” and Mia is “easy going.” No surprise there. Still my opposite girls are amusing and endearing and I love them so much!
